Botcon 2014 Voyager Knight Ginrai

Mold: Transformers: Classics Voyager Optimus Prime (Repainted, No Mold Changes)

This toy looks awesome (as long as you didn’t get one with horribly bad paint on his face, see below for a link to more on that).  In his tech spec it is mentioned that he has got the nickname Fire Guts, a reference to the fact that his appropriate colors are that of Optimus Prime, so they used the Fire Guts repaint of Powermaster Optimus Prime as a basis for his paint job.  My problem here is that they are giving him this as a nickname, but that in no way explains that he is not in his correct colors.  His name should be on the tech spec as “Fire Guts Ginrai.”  That would appropriately explain that he is not in his correct color scheme.  I would even have been okay with them making him (and I am throwing up in my mouth a little just thinking this) Shattered Glass Ginrai.  Having said all that, I like this toy too much not to give it a good grade.
